I received this from Penny Gammill:
Preston Ray Abrahams (pronounced “Abrams”) was born at 3:19 a.m. Tuesday. He weighed in @ 8 lbs 12 oz and 20 inches. He is in the NICU (Neo-Natal ICU) since he had some fluid on his lungs and was not breathing as deeply as the doctor wanted him to do. He has a slight heart murmur, but the neo-natal doc said that was not unusual. When he was born, his right clavicle bone was broken and his right arm will have to be wrapped against his body about two weeks. They did a blood culture on Preston to see if he had any infection in his lungs but will not get the result back until Friday. Depending upon what they find, Preston will be in the NICU from 5-11 days. Marnie and Bobby are sad and a little frightened, but are holding up. They can see their baby any time during the 21 hours a day when no nursing shift changes are taking place, but maybe not to touch or hold him.
