I received this from Randall:
We are at square one.
Linda’s cancer is almost at the level it was when she was first diagnosed 15 months ago. Tomorrow and next week we will be using powerful chemo to knock it back down.
We are in process of arranging donor stem cell transplant with the Mayo Clinic. We are also considering having another auto stem cell transplant (using her own cells). Having auto and donor transplants back to back tends to be more effective.
As you can see, we have a very long road ahead of us still. Linda is currently in a great deal of pain. Please pray for her comfort and for the chemo to be effective. For me, I’m tired and saddened to see the love of my life so sick. Our Father never promised a life free of pain and in fact suffering can be a means to deep spiritual growth. We have experienced this. Pray we remain faithful, take one day at a time, and continue to experience God’s presence and power.
