I just received this from Carol Woodfin:
I would like to request prayer for my mother, Leta Woodfin, who has pancreatic cancer. It’s inoperable and she can’t go through chemotherapy at her age (86) and general level of health. We don’t know how much time she has. She is at peace, putting her faith in God for however long she may have. I have a sister (Rosemary) nearby who checks on her several times a day, and another sister (Linda) who also lives in Fort Worth. I’m going to be there for all of the Christmas break. This has hit us all very hard, so soon after my father’s death in May, and with no history of cancer in our family. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends. All of her living children were there, as well as all her grandchildren and both of her great-grandchildren. My only aunt and uncle came from South Carolina. It was a happy day and a strengthening of family ties.
